Introducing… Photo Of The Week

A lot of the things I do I photograph, but aren’t really projects. Or are parts of mini-projects, but don’t quite warrant a write-up of their own. With POTW, I hope to capture those little things. So to kick it off, here’s more than one photo.

At Pumping Station: One, we had a couple of boxes of super-absorbent polymers lying around. We had them absorb a 50/50 mix of denatured alcohol and water, which didn’t work too well, so we set them on fire.What else were we to do?

At Maker Faire in Detroit, we played around with the complete lack of traction on Milwaukee Makerspace’s car Red Lotus. Here’s Jordan doing some donuts.

And finally, here’s a bench test of the brushless motor I ended up putting in TinyBike. It’s quite a nice motor, especially compared to the ones I used before.
